Mostar old bridge

Hi folks, on the road for a few days. Had the chance to do a small plein air pastel in Mostar. Tourists watching etc etc.... anyway on sanded card, 3.5 x5.5 inches, Rembrandt's, of the old bridge over the river in Mostar. Beautiful spot dispute the crowds.

I am amazed at how much of the city you put on that tiny surface! It's very nice, Murray, and good for you for being able to do it with a crowd watching.

I was set up on the wall above the river close to the bridge where there must be billions of pixels wasted per day. There were folk all around me, then I realized some were doing selfies with me painting... Huh!
Got it done, but was loosing light later in the afternoon, it was right in my face. I'm happy with this one.

You should be, you captured a lot, and it looks gorgeous. What a beautiful place to visit let alone paint!

Thanks for the great comments. Nice to unwind painting after driving. Must remember to have a hat to shade my eyes.
