[Grapes]

These are old ones ...
First one is an oil sketch on paper, 20x30 cm.

Painted in a sunlit patio in Spain.

Please, don't ask me what the plum is doing there

This one has things like the form still badly off .. I should fix it some day .. so much/too many paintings waiting to fix ..

Heat in the patio got too heavy so I collected my stuff and I worked more inside. Oil painting on canvas.

The two above were painted some 8 yrs ago. The following one is painted about 4 yrs. ago.

Wanted to try a different approach with the background. This is a daily painting on paper support.

Beautiful work on all of these, Grapes! I am enjoying all the different kinds of brush strokes and the shadows which you always do so well. I love the plum! It's another round shape so it works well with the pottery.

I guess I was looking something darker for the setup with the plum. I remember also that didn't really have anything else available when I decided to start painting so I grapped the plum.

This patio is a fun place to spend time (with my cat of course )and to paint. The patio has two floors and upper one has some views to distance to paint.

Beautiful patio set up Grapes. I honestly think you did that plum so well.. you even managed to paint that bloom on the plums surface.

Give your little fur-friend a head strike from me! Mine has multiple grooms daily, I've just given him a brush and wet wipe.. he loves it!

... here's one more picture of her on the top roof. She finds her perfect spot there. Not much view visible in this photo but will post landscape paintings painted from the roof later.

I'm keeping the leash tight in this photo because there is a deep drop to the neighbor's patio right behind her back. Cats like to sit on the edge.
