This is yet another watercolour painting that I did during the 2020, 20221 covid lockdowns. But for the enforced confinement due to the lockdowns, I would not have been able to invest so much of time on improving my watercolour skills.
This particular painting is based on a demo by Kangkan Das, an eminent Indian artist. I learnt so much watching his demos over and over again during that period.
And in case you are wondering about the pillar like white forms, they are gas emmisions. At the time when this was painted, Tinsukia District from where Kangkan Das hails, had just experienced a devastating blowout.
