Hi everyone, I’m back feeling a little bit better. And I saw we didn’t have any host for this month, so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a late April challenge? Please join me. I’ve added some pictures. Please only use the reference photos provided.
Pls use water media, or any mix of water media. You can use the reference photos however you like. You could do one, or some, or all! Just have fun. This is an encouraging place. Please post what you have done so we can comment. Do not be shy if you’re a beginner. We love seeing what people come up with! This challenge will last until the end of April. We aim to get paintings done for the end of the month. But you can always add some later if you finish them after April.🙂

Beautiful photos, Christine! It's so good to hear that you're feeling a little better and hopefully you'll be painting again! Is that your dog with the crazy hairdo? :)

Thank you Donna. Yes, I’m still having lots of dizziness, but hopefully I can still work away at times. They’re playing a lot with my steroid and I’ve been on it for years so we’re having interesting times! Lol It’s never boring, however I would prefer excitement in a different way! Lol.
That is my dog Finn. Can you believe that? His bed head is worse than mine! Lol His fur never stops growing-it would grow down to the floor! I’m pretty sure he has Maltese in him. his parents are a miniature poodle and a Pomeranian. The poodle makes him extremely calm, funnily enough. He looks really cute at different stages of length of fur. When it gets really long he runs and it’s literally flowing behind him like waves. He reminds me of Pamela Anderson running down the beach or Farrah Fawcett.
He’s a good little guy. very gentle and a real gentleman. He’s been my shadow with me lately. He follows me everywhere. And I mean everywhere. I think knows something’s up. They always know with their people.
But you know, I’m very excited. It’s gonna be spring soon with all the flowers. They cheer me up. I hope they cheer up others too.
I hope you are doing well and will join us and do some painting!🙂

So glad you are feeling a bit better, Christine. Hopefully things will get sorted with your meds and you’ll soon be yourself again. Your dog caught my eye as well, what a great photo. I wish I could send you some of our spring which is happening beautifully here on the West coast. It’s still a little chilly but the blossoms have started and it’s so lovely. Take care.

Christine, these are stunning photos! I wondered about this challenge. If you want it to be for May also, that gives more a chance to see it. Thanks again!

Ok, that is a great idea! Let’s extend this challenge then through April and May and it will be completed on the last day of May.
I will try to get my original post and title edited to reflect this.

Kay, thanks for all you do for us.
Christine, many (like me) may have thought there was no April Challenge and may not see this for a while, so I am glad you thought it was a good idea to go through May. I thought of starting one myself, but didn't want to cause any problems. ;)

For some reason, all forums across the 'net are slow. If you want to host just drop me a message. Easy to combine months plus it is sad to waste such good photos we collect.

I agree. Maybe during slower times we should just combine two months at a time. People might feel they have more time to get around to the challenge if they’re busy or they’re busy with other challenges.
