Wondering if the time/energy expense for the swifts to get to the flamingos might off-set any advantage?

Yep, just need that gravity suppressor thingy to be invented and then the clever LIFT ( light inducing forward thrust ) System that is on the test bench could push Swifts upward,

Ok, I am onnit. A gravity suppresor would be handy for DIY too, when you drop a nail or screw, they wouldn't end up halfway across the room under the bed, they'd just...float right there in front of you.
