Karoo South Africa

[Aspenman]

12x16 on 246lb textured linen paper using SoHo HB Acrylics with big brush. Painted alla prima using a dry brush technique with lots of color blending. I used a painting on the internet by South African artist Malcolm Dewey, a professional artist, as my pictoral input as a lesson for my development.
Karoo is a very hot area of S. Africa & somewhat desert like.
