Holga shots from Paris

The Holga is a toy film camera that's been around for decades. In China, where it's made, it was considered a toy for kids with its plastic lens and propensity for light leaks (and the back of the camera falling off if one didn't tape it!). It has only a center "sweet spot" that will actually focus, and the rest of the frame falls off in a blur. There is some vignetting in the corners, and light can get oddly bounced around.

Of course, for those very faults it's a fun camera to use! It's also lightweight and small, so it was easy for me to tote around despite my back and knee issues.

Everyone is happy, it seems, wandering around the Eiffel Tower. Eiffel Tower exuberance:

Why yes - this is the same Sennelier store that was frequented by Pablo Picasso; it's located at 3 quai Voltaire, along the Seine. Of course I went in and bought stuff. Before I went in, though, this guy (clearly after my own heart) posed for a photo in front of the store, taken by his companion:
