Thanks, Arty. It is something I snapped years ago, and I still like it. The hills in summer can look like green velvet.

What a strange tower. Where/what is it?

It is National Wallace Monument in the relatively newly founded "city" of Stirling in Central Scotland.

Thanks Ian, made me look up the wikipage on it. Interesting, a relatively recent building.
There is a rather hilarious paragraph on that page about a statue of Wallace, made by Tom Church, inspired by the film Braveheart.
