Hi folks, back to pointalism-ish.
Gouache on WC paper 300gm, 10x25 cm. From a photo along the canal path in Stockholm a while back. What can I say, the subject lends itself to the style. The actual is a little warmer than the photo.

FWIW, like the painting and the Pointillism. But feel that the figures don't fit because they are stylistically different. What would happen if with a few dots you turned them similarly divisionist?

Hi Bart, I agree, actually I had already attacked them, as they were so out of place. Thank you so much for the honesty.

Agreed, but you still could have used figures. I would have done them pointillist as well. They did provide more of a focal point.

I didn’t mind the figures, Murray, but I like the painting just as well without them. Now the focus is all on the glittering leaves. Very nice!
