As for Chagall (Mordechai Segal….), his early paintings are not bad. After he became famous (and rich) he painted badly over and over childishly drawn figures floating around, badly composed etc. The Jewish meaning behind his crap could be written as opposed to painted. My late father met him a couple times during his visits of Israel. He was arrogant, insulting and basically full of s..t.
