Painted on the porch in pastels for the Scavenger Hunt "landscape". I love pastels.

Wow Jo! This is just stunningly beautiful! Your pastel paintings blow me away! ❤️

What a beautiful scene! Your clouds are incredible, Jo. ❤️

Artyczar thanks again. My favorite medium.

CaliAnn thank you. You know i like playing in the dust.

Terri, thank you. Clouds aren’t always easy.

Geez, bein' a Noo Yawka, de only Eastside I knows is in Manhattan, an' it don' look like dat, no-how!

Wherever it is, it's a lovely picture. Gets me eager for more springtime.

Rich, Ha! You made me laugh. We are central Texas and don't get much change in seasons so it is pretty green most of the time if we get rain. Thanks for the smile.

Wow Jo! You really brought out the beauty of this view! I especially love the bright yellow-green grass in the mid-ground. It lights up the whole piece.

Your trees are wonderful. I like the touches of color via the flowers.

ntl, I paint better if I like the subject and paint from life. Appreciate you kind words. The bluebonnets were off to the side but I like them so much, too.

Flowercat, thanks. Green is always a challenge. I try to put in a bit of red, especially in pine trees. Then a bit of orange softens or greys it down a bit. A bit of purple/lavender makes green stand out. Awww, guess I just like color.
