Early Spring

Oil painting on board, 19x24 cm. This was painted about a month ago, there's now more green in the landscape. Air was pretty cold and I got frozen that day.

Thanks, Sanlynn! It's always difficult to judge how much green can you add to these grey scenes, this one could have been painted with grey's only and that would have been nice too but after a long white winter I was eager to search for color and greens.

Now that's a good idea, I should do a pleinair on this spot in every season including snow. Actually, we have more green everywhere at the moment so I could go soon and repeat the scene.
I went to this spot by foot. It's not that far from my place, little less than a mile. My easel is as light weight as it can be but it's still a good exercise.
