From a while ago when first learning pastels.
Used mostly charcoal for the blacks because my black pastel crumbled and broke up too much.
The scene, I think, was based on a google street view on the VirtualPaintout site.
18x24 in pastel,charcoal/hardboard.

another very beautiful piece, from everything to the colors, and this time I have to write it myself which arouses emotions and memories similar to how much I admire a piece by Vincent.
 
Sofia Bulgaria? I’ve had that on my list of places I’d like to go and this just confirms it...I want to be in that picture. Nice atmosphere.

Be careful. You have a near tangent here as the diagonals of the streets almost form an arrow pointing down and out of the painting. I really like the house on the right. There's something almost spooky about it. 😲

edit: Looking again, I find the work reminds me in some ways of Degas' monoprints.
