December Field study

Thanks Terri and Hermes. Experimenting is educating me, that's for sure. I appreciate the comments!

Donna...I had missed this one you previously posted. Once again as already stated the tissue effect is very intriguing to me as well. I have seen it done before and it gives such an added effect of textures. I love the wintery palette and the texture just feels like frozen foliage with a light layering of frost and snow amongst the field rows. Really great work!

Thanks John; that's such a nice comment. I'm still trying to figure out how much is too much when it comes to texture. The blobs do appear much better from across the (room, state, continent.) :)

Beautiful colors and good values as usual. You are really on a interesting good track with these tissue textures.
I only wish they would not be in the sky, but that would have meant to compose the landscape before putting the tissues on ;)

Hi Esther and thank you. Next time I will think about where the texture should go - or at least put a more subtle texture everywhere because those blobs in the sky are kind of comical aren't they? They remind me of one alien movie or another that my kids watched at one time. :alien:😁
