Couple today

Our plein air group was out on the coast today. I got two. 9x12 Nupastel on Mi Teintes paper; 4x6" watercolor pencil on paper. Latter was just a 5 minute experiment dotting out a sketch in Pointillist style with the pencils, then a quick wash with a waterbrush.

Nice! I can feel the sunlight in the first one and your experiment worked well - maybe you'll try it again sometime.

I love the pastel. (Of course) The watercolor pencil sketch came out so well. Like Donna said, worth another try. I like it.
