A rare sunny day. I did this once before, hoping for better results this time.

This was the only place to set up and get a good angle -
Would just have to live with the sun/shadows on the panel
the sketch.

This setup put me just a few inches off the curb, and having to wait for cars to pass so I could jump out in the street to check the painting

Lovely painting and sunshine. 👏 I find it very special to see all the things happening through the windows in your painting. Well done!

Mo, Sno, Kay - thank you!
Wasn't sure how to do see-thru tinted glass,, just winged it-
got to find a good technique for it.

I'm thinking lots of dark (like you have the last 4 windows on the right) with just the lights showing, since you will see those, and just a hint of the other things in the room.

This is so nice! I don’t know how you can concentrate with all the activity around you but I’m glad you’re not bothered by it.

Thanks Sno. What I did was paint the inside lights, and figures first, then avoiding the figures, went over with Perylene Black - which is a green/black - diluted to a glaze with liquin. Diluted wasn't dark enough so I had to go over several times, and it left brush marks.

Donna, thanks. While I'm setting up, I'm a little nervous and self-conscious. But once I start painting it's all good, nothing bothers me.
I have the "in for a nickel in for a dime" mentality.
