Cerne Abbas Giant

I saw the article yesterday. It brings back a fond memory. A few years ago, my SO and I took a day trip down to the South Coast. First to Corfe Castle, then across the ranges to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door with a stop on the top road for a picnic lunch. Then on to view the Cerne Giant and home for supper. Just one of the many day trips that we had while I waited to get my rotator cuff sorted.

It's gorgeous around that whole area Claude, as I was reading about your trip I could see it so clearly in my minds eye. I spent my formative years growing up in the area and love the coastline there

Lulworth and Corfe are two of my favorite places to visit. I got to thinking. Read day dreaming. It must have been 1972 when I first visited Lulworth. Day trip from Chipping Sodbury, where I lived at that time, through Blandford Forum. I was young and stupid them and climbed down Durdle Door. Now I'm old and stupid. ;)
