Amazing that Bob's paintings are selling for so much. His real talent was helping people approach painting, IMHO, not painting itself. But taste is in the eye of the beholder like beauty.

What is lovely is that this gentle man, a gentleman by reputation, posthumously is contributing something very valuable to the public networks he rode to fame and loved.

It's good for all of us. Good on yer, Bob!

Yes, he was interesting and I learned a lot about light and blending colors. He was a drill instructor in the service which is so opposite of his TV personality. He inspired a lot of people including me. Thanks for the memories.

I loved his TV show. Both him and Mr. Alexander. I almost never missed it.

I've seen quick ads for him but never watched him myself though know he's well loved. We had Toby hart (and Morph!) in the UK.
