Beauty from down in the hedgerow

Saw this flower on one of our coastal trips, deep down amongst the grasses. Don’t know it’s name just thought it was beautiful. Acrylic on 11”x 8” board.

Gorgeous!! I love purples and greens together like this. Great shaping of your grasses and foliage.

Maybe some kind of wild violets? Whatever they are, you've rendered them beautifully. Love it!
