....

update: see The Sunrise Gradient Color Scheme

has 6 colors, which are Persian Indigo (#2D1D7A), Imperial (#573170), Deep Ruby (#804565), Middle Red Purple (#AA585B), Copper Red (#D36C50) and Mango Tango (#FD8046). The RGB and CMYK values of the colors are in the table below along with the closest RAL and PANTONE® numbers. Click on a color chip to view shades, tints and tones, and also download patterns, gradients and palettes of the color.

well i would say that we can RGB /& the CMYK Values take over into GIMP or Krita or Inkscape!

good day again 😀

hope youre well ...

.....well some musings while i am currently drawing the Image for a wesite consisting of visualization of a network (konsisting of dots that are linked) - all that is drawn on a Gradient Background (see above)

i have tried to make up my mind - and i have read a dozen of theory-pages and wikipedia-sites:

hmmm - regarding the **Color-Sheme:** generally spoken: i guess that the best choice of colours, gradients and dot combinations really depends on the idea, the goal and hmm - lets say the purpose of the Project: So i guess that we can say subsequently: different goals and contexts call for different moods, thoughts, emotions, sensual feelings, ideas and subsequently messages:

**theoretically spoken**: it depents: We can say that it depends from the project goals: so we need to understanding the project’s target audience: then we could talk more about the emotions we want to convey and the overall style.
to sume up: Each and every color evokes an emotional reaction from the person who viewing the color. So, if we have got a list of different colors then we also have a whole list of the physiological responses associated.

I’ve been looking at options on various ressources and sites in the net – but before locking in a direction, I thought: Why not ask the colour experts here? Really curious to see your takes – whether that’s based on harmony theory, design practice, or just gut feeling.

Thanks again for your forum here - with the "Digital-Art" sub-forum: this such an inspiring place to learn and share

which Colors wouly you choose!?

i eagerly look forward to hear from you

cheers your saint paris

My feeling is that making art is a personal, subjective process, so you should try a few different schemes and choose the one YOU think looks the best.

good day dear Hermes2020, good day :)

many thanks for the quick answer - and for sharing your ideas and thoughts. This helps alot.

i agree with you.

Your thoughts and suggestions are – clear, inspiring, and right on point. 👐

i guess that ill have to do some tests - and a perhaps i should create somehing like a "mood board" - that helps me to generate ideas and find a direction - a way to go ( digitally of course ): With that process i could collect images in which i like the colors and things alike - interesting scenes, parts i want to include in into the image, and so on. That said i think that i have to try out several techniques - technique and processes that might also be helpful.

that said - i just have had a closer view on the bokeh things: i just created some bokeh visualizations with the python library.

Bokeh is a Python library for creating interactive visualizations for modern web browsers. It helps you build beautiful graphics, ranging from simple plots to complex dashboards with streaming datasets. With Bokeh, you can create JavaScript-powered visualizations without writing any JavaScript yourself.

well i like this very much - and i think that this can be a nice and interesting starting point.
perhaps i have to generate some more bokeh graphics - which i can use

have a great day
