I’m not a huge Rothko fan… although I respect his work and even quite like some of it… but this quote I certainly agree with.

I mostly agreed with his philosophies. I like a lot of his work, but he was definitely a wise man.

You can see why his pen drawings had such distortions with his models being so close.
