Copal, satinwood and manzanita burl. Around 3 1/2" high. I left the rind on in some places to give it more dimension.

Very nice Musket. What are the dimensions of the stand?

Thanx Arty. If I recall correctly, around 2 1/2" high, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. The column is maybe 1/2" x 1/2" but is bowed and tapered some from bottom to top as can be seen in the pix. It's been a long time.

This one is also beautiful! I love the color of the copal.

The copal is actually the same color as the in other piece, but on this one I left parts of the rind intact, which makes it look darker. All of what look like inclusions in the resin are actually on the surface. It's an easy material to work, but it's fragile. It doesn't have the toughness of amber. Exposure to UV is bad for it.
