Ah, Italia!

Having just returned from a long awaited trip back to Italy, I find myself in posession of 9 lovely small line and wash panitings. Still have the touch, and I painted almost daily, something that I am not sure I ever did as prolifically before.

Varios sizes, ink and watercolor on watercolor paper. Sites in Milan, Cinqueterre, Florence, Perugia and Bologna.

These are great, well done. I love that kind of cascading seaside village in #2.

That is of Manarola, one of the 5 towns in the Cinqueterre in Liguria. Old fishing villages built into steep hillsides along streams from way back in the Roman era (possibly before.) Old home to us after going there for 44 years, but now kind of over-run with tourists unfortunately. Still, can't beat the inherent beauty.
