This is the commission I was working on. I can't show it anywhere but here, because it is to be a Christmas gift. I don't know if it is for the Mom or the little girl, but the Grandma is having it done. I think I'm finished with it and she has pronounced it "perfect".

She pronounced it perfect because it is. I just want to cry when I look at it - such a tender moment between these two. I had horses growing up and it was a real love affair, so I can totally relate. (I had mine licking grape soda out of the palm of my hand. Don't judge.)

Now I can't wait to hear the feedback you get from this after Christmas! Gorgeous work. The sheen on the bridle is blowing me away.

Thank you, Terri! That bridle, with all the parts and stitches was sort of like doing those plaid shirts.

I don't doubt it - such great detail, with all the stitching. Bridles are such fussy things, endless loops and straps to ensure a good fit. You nailed it all. Remarkable job.
