fountain pen on 6 x 9" Bristol Vellum paper
I tried to make use of my pen's flex nib more. i was really pleased with the line variation here! i'm going to work on that more. i still haven't found my ideal paper yet, but i like my paper choice this time. the ink doesn't sit on top of the paper and smudge as easily as the Bristol Smooth. what are your go to papers for drawing with a fountain pen?

Very lovely sketch! And I agree with Anne regarding the book.
I sketch on any paper that is at hand but my preferred paper for pen and ink sketches is cartridge paper (140 gsm).
