This is what I call a "time pass" sketch. There is no special intent in choosing this particular subject. My only objective was to use my newly bought flex nib pen and get a little more comfortable with it.

I used a photograph posted by friend on a Whatsapp group as my reference and did not even try seriously to get any close likeness. The sketch is approximately 12 cms x 16 cms, and is my fourth sketch with this pen.

Thank you. The pen is a brand called Click, made in India, and the nib is a medium flex. I paid about ten dollars for it.

Thank you. I do think I have managed to get some of the expression, likeness, and posture fairly accurately, though my only intent was to get the ink flowing freely and lay down lines without jerks and scratches. I am slowly getting the hang of using this pen.
