3 quickies today

Three quickies today at Courthouse Square in Redwood City, CA. Theater 5x7"; Broadway 7x5"; painter at holiday decorated light pole 4x10", all watercolor and ink on paper. B. Charlow 2025.

Excellent work on all, but the last one is my favorite. Great idea, so fresh and different with the format size, subject matter and rendering. You must work very quickly!

Yes, I do. These take no more than 30=35 minutes to do.
Sadly, the painting fell off my mantle and the puppy ate it. Seriously. I am so bummed!!!!

Unfortunately a scan lacks the subtlety of the original.

I did not mean photo copy I meant create a new piece similar in appeal. After all, you are capable.

Not the way I work, unfortunately. The inspiration was then, not now.

Bartc, I share your mindset. Often it is recommended to so similar paintings in a series, and paint another of the same painting to improve. Perhaps I do not have the patience, but when I tried that it felt boring and tedious. And I seemed to make the same "mistakes" I made on the first piece.
