yellowing!!!!

Friends,

here is an example what cheap art supplies (oils) can do to your paintings: I painted this one 10 years ago and it shows drastically what linseed oil can do when you use the not-refined, cheaper variant for salads .....

Beautiful painting! It's too bad about the yellowing. I have some Arches watercolor paper that has yellowed - in under a year. I also have some cheap, non-artist grade watercolor paint that I painted a few years ago - no fading at all! I wonder if the brands make a difference?
 
I wonder if it's the paint, or how it was stored? Sometimes you can put another type of paper next to it and it can yellow the good paper.
