The more I look at this the more I see. I have to wonder if your title means that something is coming undone or becoming nothing as it comes apart.

Yes, becoming undone. Also, the conventional, judgemental meaning of the word, unbecoming. The "eyes" evolved into those of a primate...innocent eyes.
