Nice sketches Bethany! That first pose was awesome and I imagine the model was glad when the timer went off. It looks like he was well lit so you could see the lights and darks and model his form.
 
Wow, these are wonderful. I can see the spontaneity in your work. I can also understand why you are happy to have your sessions start again. I was involved with a group in our area years ago. Your proportions are so well done.

Thank you for these kind words! I felt a bit out of practice because it has been 2 months between sessions. I tend to draw sight-sized which becomes a challenge when I sit so close to the model.

Thank you, Donna! He was a fit young man and into yoga- so he held the poses so well!
The young woman who runs the sessions is an artist herself (draws along with us as well) and is really aware of how the light effects the poses. It is vital to have good light- especially for someone my age!
