I'll post them. They were failures in that they didn't do what I though I could do but they still work as paintings.

On a run which started with the abstract challenge and continues here. Not sure what will come of it but I have taken from abstract and added to my own repertoire and what will be will be. Thanks for looking. Comments always welcome. I combined a few of my older boat paintings into what you see here and that's why it's called what it is.
Very impactful and dynamic. Great work! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! I love the top one in particular. These darker palettes are so appealing - really make you study them.

You've been busy! ❤️

So where are the spring rainbow still lifes? I guess they don’t last long as models. 🙂 As always, you have a lot of great textures in this one. It’s so hard to keep anything abstract; a vertical line is a tree. Many vertical lines become a forest. As soon as a horizontal line goes in it divides the space between land and sky. I’m glad you’re up to the challenge, Wayne.

That last abstract may not be as abstract as you want, but I really do like the subject and contrast. And remember, it’s a sliding scale from realistic to abstract.🙂
