Strawberries on a dish

Ink and Inktense in 5"x7", Bee W/C Journal.

I painted this in Art Class yesterday and just did the highlights seeds this morning once everything was totally dry.

Yummy! I can't do that, would eat all the strawberries before even I start. I specially like the soft nuances in your background (can't look too long at the strawberries without feeling the urge to go to the fridge).

I love them too. Fortunately, I painted from a photo so it wasn't a problem. If they were there, I probably would have eaten them too.

You do such beautiful work, Anne. I am admiring how you created several shades of red to give the strawberries dimension. Thanks for explaining how you use Inktense pencils in your previous thread. I always thought you blended the colors on the paper.
