Still life with Onions

Gouache on panel, 14” x 11”
Painted from life, natural light through sliding glass door. Used the paint opaque, while still soft from the tube. Some wet in wet, some overpainting and reworking dry color passages. It’s tricky to rework a passage that has dried as it often then dries a different value when wet. Basically using primary red, yellow and blue, and Naples yellow, Burnt Sienna, white and sparingly black. Winsor newton, LeFranc & B, and Holbein.
