Fantastic. I really like the strong contrast of the spider and his shadow on the sun lit surface.
It also helps I really love arachnids ((and other animals most people would call creepy crawlies).

Hopefully I will have some new material to post soon, l but heire's another one from 2019. It's from a photo I took of a spider that was abseiling down the side of my van and I loved the strong shadow. I've painted him three times now. It's done in W&N and Jackson's watercolours with a Pitt Pen, on a quarter sheet Arches hot press.
