Hi all! I've been missing in action most of the summer, partly due to not much artwork to show, and partly due to a nice trip to Europe (a first for me).

There will be more images to come, but I haven't scanned all my film negatives yet. Here are some street scenes from my cell phone that I took in Paris:

3. Paris cafe.jpg

8. Eiffel Tower.jpg

13. The Louvre, across the Seine.jpg

29. Paris night life.jpg

30. More Paris night life.jpg

31. B&W at night.jpg

32. Paris at night.jpg

Sorry for the image dump. Thanks for looking!

I loved looking at your photos, so no apologies needed for posting several together. That has inspired me to perhaps haul out some of my own photos I've taken on trips in recent years and show them in this forum.

Fabulous work! The last one is essentially appealing. May they be used as painting references? I was in Paris many years ago. When I get around to it, I will post some pix of my holiday. Ports included Iceland, Greenland, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Norway and Canada.

Terri, never apologise for posting photos of Paris. It's one of my favourite places! And it's so photogenic! Lovely photos, lots of character and I love the light. The 'Au Bon Couscous' steeet is very appealing. You've made me want to go back there 🙂

We went on a trip to Europe too this year, back in June. Didn't get to Paris but we did drive through France. I will get around to sharing photos eventually.

Jade, Hermes, Wayne, Donna, Joy, Triduana - thank you all so much for the kind words! 🥰

@Jade - Hi there, and thank you for your nice response! ❤️

@Hermes2020 - I loved what you just posted - I hope to see some more!

@Enyaw - it's wonderful that looking at these night shots evoked some good memories for you. That's a positive reaction and I'm glad these shots brought it.

Hi Donna! Yes, nighttime managed to be prettier than daytime - the place is eye candy!

Joy, by all means, let any of these be a painting reference. I'll look forward to seeing the pictures of your travels!

Oh, Kay, do share your European trip photos! The 'Au Bon Couscous' is one of my favorites, too! We were in the Latin district that night, roaming around after dinner.

Does anyone ever get tired of Paris? ;)
