Thanks so much Fletch, Joan, and Ned...

Joan: beautiful line of animal...super job on heavy machinery...lovely works both waterscape and landscape.

Ai, thanks! Looks like you are enjoying your trip. I love the bunny figurines. They look so sweet posed next to the delicate coffee pot and cup. You are finding such great things there to sketch.

I went to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum this morning. It is close enough that I can take a ride over just to check if the trees there are in bloom yet. The star magnolia has just started blooming and will probably be in full bloom by the weekend since the days are supposed to be nice.
9 - abundant blooms - gouache, watercolors, watercolor pencils, and graphite on grey toned paper.

Joan - like seeing your graphite work. Mini landscapes made stop and look closer as there is so much implied details. Magnolia buds are pretty but a now teased to see the full blossoms.

Ai - Saw lemon design on the tea pot and thought it was the same set but scrolled back saw it is a different tea pot. The shading is beautiful especially like itvon the bunnies,

#2 bowl - couple of ink doodles of a bowl. Ink on printer paper. Actually on printout of this hunt.

Fletch, thanks so much for your comments. I like your ink sketches of the bowls. I don't usually sketch on my hunt printout, but by the time the hunt is finished I have several notes written on the paper so I have to keep it a while before I transfer the notes somewhere else. This list already has several reminders on it. lol

Joan, Ned, Fletch: Thanks.

Fletch: Very cute bowls. Glad you find time to sketch and share them with us.

Joan: What a beautiful abundant of Magnolia blooming. Gorgeous Spring.

I did not sketch today.... slow and relaxing but I was on my cellphone FB too much. ...I need to weed my FB time out of my daily life.

Ai and Joan -- wow on the figurines and the magnolias!

Fletch -- I like the ink sketches too. I always tear my scavenger hunt list off the paper it's printed or written on so I can fold it up small and have it in my pocket. Then I find old lists at the bottom of my knapsack, in my car, or sometimes they go through the laundry by mistake :)

Who would have thought we have so many ways to use and carry the hunt?,
Thanks to all for kind supportive comments.,
#3 Below - Momma Bear in a rocker.

Included ref so it is verified “below” and is the Momma.

Keep sketching and learning
