Winter has begun here in the northern hemisphere …..

I like this PineCone - a lovely simplicity. The way my brain works but I imagined a little pair of cat ears peeking over the mountain!

We arrived home yesterday around 4:30. I'm so thankful that I reserved wheelchairs for both of us at all the airports. The amount of walking at the terminals is outrageous. I know when they took Jerry in the wheelchair last year I had to race to keep up with them. It was soooo much easier this way, plus they take you through all the lines quickly. Now I just have to adjust to the time difference and the time change from last night.

Jo, thanks. The checked tablecloths are so Italian. Good quick thumb sketch. It is handy to have them around.

Ai, you found quite a few Halloween decorations. I didn't see much decorated in Italy. Your hanging fish made me smile. Some of the seafood restaurants here use them outside or inside for decorations.

Robin, I like your mannequin sitting like an elf on the shelf.

Fletch, I did start with the eclairs first, but they didn't move throughout the sketch. I polished them off once I was done. :D

Pine Cone, thanks. It was fun to have you along. I'm a bit behind this morning. I like your sketch of the mountains yonder in the distance.

This was sketched at the check-in counter at the Milan Malpensa Airport yesterday. They had a special section for the "mobility challenged" passengers that was behind the counter, so I had a view from the back.

Joan, I've been enjoying again seeing your works from Venice! 💖

Everyone, beautiful 😍 paintings/drawings!

Ai, thanks. I like your Halloween decorations. The pumpkin snowman is fun. The fake tuna at the coffee restaurant is well done, great for under.

Robin, awww, cute mannequin. Brandy snifter is excellent find for lounge. Ohhh, the bobble fish toy is excellent. Clever.

Hi Fletch. Thanks.

Pine Cone, thank you so much. Your yonder mountains are right on. Applause.

Hi, Jade.

Hi, Grapes. Thanks for checking in.

Joan, welcome home. So much harder to travel these day. Thanks. Super sketch of the airport workers and back counter. Good for you finding time to sketch.

I forgot that I had sketched on Friday at PT for Gene. In the Canson travel sketchbook with Ohuhu .5 as I recall.

Number 3 sub for mannequin, person at counter
An extra Halloween sketch the workers/therapists were dressed as Minions with bright yellow caps and bulky sweatshirts or jackets in bright yellow. Fun. My sketch doesn't resemble the person I was sketching, ha.

Robin, cute bobble. Your cat must have fun with it.

Grapes, I'm glad you enjoyed the Venice sketches.

Jo, thanks. Travel even when it goes well is tiring. lol I see you sketched a back view too. Fun!!

Thanks, Joan. Fun you found a skeleton, too. Looks pretty large. Bet you are happy to not have schedules for a while. Well, except art groups and doctors. Ha.

Hello to all y'all.

Jo, this skeleton was as tall as the tree he was near...maybe a basketball player. lol

Ha, Joan. Could be.

I sketched outside during Gene's PT today. Glorious day. About 80ºF. This is the Ohuhu Sketchbook with an Ohuhu .5 pen and watercolors. Forgot to color the tire on the sedan. It also looks like some sort of "kit" car but was a silver sleek low slung sedan.

Joan: Wonderful skeleton decoration sketch.

Jo: Wonderful scene with multiple vehicles.

Jo, nice work on all those cars!! Sketches like that are always a challenge. It is hard enough to do one car.

I sketched outside yesterday...fall trees. I'll have to look and see if I can make it fit anything in the hunt. I spent most of last evening going thru the month's mail that I picked up at the post office yesterday...90% of which was junk. Will be off to paint with my plein air group this morning.

Robin, a clever under. Looks about like under my sink, too. Like Joan, I would have to hunt down my iron and dust it. Good job on yours. Love your hatching as always. Smiling.

Joan, how fun you got to a farm and found real roosters. Love the sketch.

JoC - fun Halloween front yard...pretty active for dead bunch!! Your thumb looks happy...it made me chuckle! Always nice to come upon a little sketch snatched from the melleuw...Feeling the fresh air in the parking lot...love iHi to Gene
