Robin, thanks, It is fun to see where some people go with their imaginations. I’m sure you will come up with something creative for your shed.

Pine Cone, what an odd looking cloud! It reminds me if a mountain or a whitch’s hat. KGlad your mobile studio gave you the chance to stop for the moment and capture it.

Jo, I love the assortment of little houses. I’m always amazed epwhen I travel that the houses are different wherever you go…either the shape, the roofs, the windows, and even the colors. I’m so glad to hear you got a bit of rain, but sorry it knocked over the red umbrella.

Ai, yikes…what a scary decoration!

Wow, I looked away and lots more here! I've been busy making some old fashioned photographs... going out tomorrow to try another one. I was shocked to see the last time I made one was in November 2017. I've printed a few of them since then, but haven't made any new ones. So far only a partial success but getting better... each one is almost a full day project.

Robin -- That sketch is neat... the turtle shell and objects along the window sill have nice perspective and look very 3-D! But what really caught my eye was how excellent just the contour outline of the plant looks against the window. I'm surprised that works so nicely and it looks neat.

Jo -- your old red white and blue kitchen ... now I want to know if that was in Texas :) The pumpkin and bottles are good and the little chick toy is really cute. Like the bright colors and nicely drawn tree and lamp post and table.

Joan -- those bright colorful paint jobs are sure cheerful. I like your sketch of one.

Pine Cone -- that pyramid-shaped cloud is wild. I too am thinking about Fletch's "tones"... I think it would be a good thing to try.

Ai --- :) :) that IS scary!

See you all in the next one! Time sure flies.

.Pinecone…yep that is a biazzare cloud! Thanks for sharing it with

JoC. Happy patio sketch ..has that just-after-rain freshness…. Love your house collection. that striped wall is pretty intense!!

Ai…that is scary alright

Yes, Ned and Robin red, white and blue was in Texas. Ned our house burned in the big Bastrop fire in 2011. You can put Bastrop fire in my blog or google.

Jade, Ai, Joan, Fletch, Ned, JoC, Robin, and joe1lt, thank you so much for helping me learn, and for your continuing kindness ❤️

Joan — It’s wonderful that you got to hang out with your sketcher friend from Paris, and re-visit the store, and do some nocturnal painting together (wow) !!! Your sketches of the canal skyline and the evening skyline are special, with the evening sky enchanting me with its deep golden beauty, and darkening turquoise waters 🎨
Unreal spiral building (how on earth did they build that 😳 ???), and fearless painting of its intricacies and depths 😂
Love the costume shop….. 4 buildings full of costumes ??? Your journeys continue to introduce us to things that we’ve never imagined 🎭
Enjoying the nuanced greens and yellows of your sunny potted plant, and your yummy cookies 🌿
I’m falling in love with Burano through your sketches. Your work there all seems to have a serene beauty that has captured my imagination, and calmed my soul. And amazing photo too - what a wonderful way to paint your house 😂

Fletch — Clever egg experiment, and love it waiting patiently, weighted and secure on the surface, lovely drawing 🥚 and the next, the sphere is wonderful as well, and I keep coming back to study the different highlights and shadows ✏️
Oh my, wonderful bottle and cork, WOW, another I’ve come back to study, great highlights and textures and weight, and ellipses….. 😂

Ai — Your skillful sketches of the jar and chair are wonderful, with good ellipses, and lines ✏️ And what a great sketch of your classroom full of students - absolutely fantastic work in every way 😂
I love your atmospheric sketches at BangLuang Canal and at the watersports park - the colors throughout both scenes are so lovely. As the boat at the canal glides through the water, I want to be there 🎨
Fun line sketch of the imaginative wood sculpture ☀️

Ned — Your coastline sketches are wonderful to see. They have such lovely and familiar waves, I’ve had to go and turn on my nature soundtrack with “gentle ocean waves on rocks” playing now. Thank you 🙏😌
You sketched the animal that had passed away with serene beauty RIP ☀️
Thank you for hosting this wonderful event 🙏😂

JoC — I love dandelions, and so did my horse 😂😍 My horse would have loved your yard 🧲🌱😁
Enjoying your sketches of the pumpkin and med bottles, but the little chick has stolen my heart with her soft fluff, and her little eye and beak and even a wind-up knob I think, and the soft yellow shading to gentle peachy color, and….. 🐥 lovely scene with the lamp post and table, and the umbrella, cheerful and deep with color ☀️
Looking at your 2009 sketch and photo, got a bit misty-eyed - so glad you have those memories, and what a wonderful choice of items to have collected, and to have arranged together with your dh in such a loving and interesting way….. ❤️

Jade — Awwwww, baby bats, adorable, look at them ❤️🦇🦇🦇 Wonderful comforting sketch, with their different expressions, and tiny fingers 🥰

Robin — Your hat and coconut bottle and shoe sketches are beautiful with their soft colors, deep shading, and fine lines. They feel well-loved and warmly sketched 😍 and you have a most interesting sink area ☀️🐢

Robin, I love your style. There is a feeling it creates. A warmth. Not sure how to say this right…it looks real; not photorealistic but real.

Joan, how about outdoor, artificial or free space. Wonder what the neighbors think of that paint job? Fun digi, it looks like markers.

Ai, Joe, Jo , Ned and friends. 👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

Keep sketching and learning
Fletch
