Vivian - clever find for curved. We call those bent bottles wonky seem to occur a lot on verticals.😎

Jade - the portrait is excellent. I took some art classes about 25 years ago and the instructor would walk around and comment on people’s work. On everyone he would include “Make the darks darker.” The portrait is beautifully rendered and darker darks would have it popping off the page. You nailed the proportions.

Robin - Love the bird. The hand is dynamic the hatching adds so much energy.

Joe - like the multiple views of Eeyore. Thanks for your progress update. Congratulation!

#4 rectangle & #5 Clamped subbing latched. Multiple grades of graphite in pocket sketchbook.

Jade, great to see Bob up at the top of the stairs. I'm glad you found a few sketches that fit with our hunt. The building made me smile. :) Nice work on the hair!!

Fletch, sounds like you've made some lifestyle improvements. 👏I hope it shows in your tests when you go back to the doctor. Nice work on the rectangular box with the latch. Looks very useful!

Vivien, so glad to have you join us again. Chili pear sauce sounds interesting. What do you put it on? Nice sketches of the jars.

Robin, I'm sure that ocarina bird makes nice sounds. Great sketch of your hand in green.

Joe 1, welcome back to you and Eeyore! Great to see both of you. Nice work on the bottle and the tablet/computer. Glad to hear the first year's classes went well.(y)

We had a nice day today...about 82 degrees for a high and sunshine. I went into Sayville to a festival this morning and was there until about 12:30. There was a lot to sketch, but I focused on some of the vendor booths and a bit of the carnival behind the trees.
18 - free space - watercolors, ink, Posca markers

#10 clamped...on tires...at tire garage...this was not my car, but I got a good view of it to sketch...my car was way behind this car

Pine Cone, the tissue boxes are at PT. Love them. Thanks, purple and green or turquoise always attracts me.

Robin, thanks. Labels are sometimes hard to get off so a great idea! Your pot and mixer sort of mingle. Love that and your colorful hatching. Oh, the ocarina is so fun. Nice shape and coloring. Your hand makes me smile.

Fletch, congrats on the exercise. It is hard to keep up the routine. Since Gene has to go it helps. Your tool box is so well done. Love your shading always.

Vivien, hi there. Lovely that you stopped in. Clever items you found and sketched. The jam and sauce sound delicious. Great ellipses.

Jade, great sketch for curved. Fun to see you when you can drop in.

joe1lt, Awww, I always love Eyesore, these are very sweet. I like the lines on the rectangle and numbers. Applause and congratulations on your exams!! Celebration and kudos.🏆⭐

Joan, thanks. Your free space is rich in find, colors, items and detail. Wow!

Ai, Great sketch of the car clamped on the lift. I've never seen one like that. Very interesting.

Went to lunch with our kids today. Kids ... hmmm... youngest is 49. Yikes! Good day.

Jo: Thank you so much. I think they clamped the car tires for wheel alignment.

#10 b) another tire clamps during wheel alignment process...this time it was my car turn ...

Ai, fun sketch of the car up on the lift. Great to use the time there for sketching. When I take my car in for service I never have a view of what they're doing. They hide us away in a waiting room that looks too clean. lol

Jo, thanks for the comment. How fun to be able to go out with the kids for lunch! It is a good change of pace for you and always great to spend time with them.

Joan - Love the colors and the cart peeking through the trees? Also all the colors on what looks like dresses in the one stall.

Ai - Neat find and great use of time. Even did a twofer! Not sure how they work on the cars with that style lift.

Jo - lunch with the kids sounds fun.

Joe - excellent Donald sketches. Like the. One with the hand and shadow. The one farthest ti on the right looks like Daisy??

My sketch is an ArtBin box I use for drawing art supplies. Should have posted photo withe the sketch

Fletch - thank you! 🙏I found Ali Hader on YT and this was from one of his vids + learnt about grid lines.. game changer! I agree re shading.. good point. I did this with one hb pencil but I'm getting 12 graded pencils and a mechanical one delivered this week 🥳 love your art box too. Really nicely done.

Joan - glad you liked the mushroom house! I take so many pics of bobs doing cute things ! 🤦‍♀️😻Beautiful fairground sketch. 👌

Jo - thank you! I hope you had a lovely lunch.

Joe - I love your sketches! So cute. 😻

Ai - you really captured the action of the pigeon cleaning itself. 👌

Joe, your sketches of Donald always make me smile. I like your style of sketching them.

Fletch, thanks for your comments. I have a similar art bin box, but mine is blue.

Ai, great sketches of the pigeon, and especially the one where she is turning around. Good thinking for bent.

Jade, thanks. The fair was really crowded. Luckily I found a quiet spot near some food trucks where I could get away from the people walking around. Your sketch of the old tree looks so delicate.

19 - entry to the Great South Bay Brewery (which was originally a bank) - watercolors and ink

Joan, Robin, Jade, Jo, Fletch, all: Thanks so much for kind support.

Great sketches, everyone. My teaching semester will start tomorrow...I will be more busy... Yikes...

Viv: Hello... wonderful to see your lovely sketches again.

Ai, I like your car clamped. As Joan says, we are in a waiting room and can't see what is going on. Great job on the pigeon. Ah, back to school, see you when we can. You make me feel so lazy. Hugs.

joe1lt, fun Donald. I'm smiling at the descriptive lines.

Fletch, thanks for the photo, I thought it might be an art tools box.

Hi, Jade, thanks. Interesting idea for old tree. You are getting in good practice.

Joan, Nice find of the brewery with tables outside. Cool shadows and of course all the details.

Ai - Nice pigeon. Plus using bent head is good example of thinking outside the box for Jade.

Jade - Nicely shaded. As Joan pointed out you seen to have a delicate touch which is an asset in graphite and color as both use layers to build.

Joan -impressive entry for a brewery. On the Lindenhurst sketch, the shading and line work on the brick building to the right is textbook! Guessing the elevated area to left is LIRR!

Robin, Vivian, Pine Cone, Ned and other art friends 👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

Keep sketching and learning
