Red Onion

5.5x5.5 watercolor in Arteza wc sketchbook 110 lb cold press paper done last weekend. The red or purple onion is one I had out on the kitchen counter to slice for broccoli cashew salad, and it made a nice quick still life. Comments welcome!

Beautiful light via the warm light from behind and the cooler violet form shadow of the onion. High chroma throughout works.
