Latest drawing of a snail shell from the rainforest.

Drawn with a recently purchased fountain pen - "Pinieder Amber Demonstrator" and Noodlers Ink - Walnut.

A3 size and about 20 hours, absolutely delightful pen to use and the ink is superb.

A combination of some very familiar cross hatching techniques and a few new ones I created.

Wow, there's so much going on here! Thank goodness the snail is there to anchor me if I get lost in all the pen strokes :)
I'm not familiar with the pen, but I love the color of ink; it really adds something to drawing. I have exactly one Noodler's product, that being the beautiful Lexington Gray; maybe I want some Walnut after seeing your drawing!

Wow! What detail and interest in this! It's so dynamic and impressive. Love every pen stroke. ❤️

Great sketch. I love this walnut color! Your detail work is amazing. ❤️

Thanks for all your comments.

There is definitely too much detail but I just can't help myself. 🤣

I over work, but your art never looks like there is too much detail. It is difficult to know when you are "done". Art is never finished, only abandoned!
