Had a little time left and not enough to break out the soft pastel setup, so just used Nupastels to sketch a hill scene at Forest Home Farms in San Ramon, CA. 11.5x9.5" on Sand PastelMat.

Excellent! Very fresh and the values-in-colour are exquisite!

You could easily work this up much larger- the hills and vales and steep, curving terrain- due to your value structure.

More likely I would break out the soft pastels which have more color and take more time. But I almost never rework a piece. Thanks to you and all for the compliments on a painting I really didn't love.
