Lovely sketch! I have seen such parrots only in captivity. The ones that I see flying freely are entirely green in colour.

Really well captured. I have seen these lovely birds in the wild in Costa Rica. I have been away for several weeks on holiday and am way behind on forums, painting and commenting. (Plus I am rather overwhelmed and exhausted. Perhaps another holiday to “recuperate” ?) There are many things that need my attention at home, and I hope to participate more in September.

I love everything about birds and painting them. I use the inktense blocks for quick sketches. Nicely done!
