This was done as a challenge on another site. I like all of the curling, ruffled leaves.

This is the sea turtle I painted for the Animal Wildlife challenge this month. I thought I would post it here also in case you don't follow the challenge thread.

These are both wonderful, and I love the leaves on the turnip. I just checked and did not see the turtle in the A & W Challenge yet, so if you already posted it, it may not have uploaded.

Both paintings are lovely! I like your painting of the turnips for the way you have brought out the form of the bulbs and the form as well as the folds of the leaves. I wish you had also brought out the cylindrical form of the stalks.

Thanks Balaji and good observation. Looks like I forgot to finish the stalks.
