Owl in Watercolor

This is about 6 x 8, done as a challenge. The paper is 140CP, Handbook Journal, and is fairly decent for non cotton paper. I did it a several weeks ago, as I have been away for a while and am catching up on an abundance of things at home.

You're welcome, and I'm glad I found it! I have a lot of threads to catch up on, I feel I've been absent a bit too much over the last year. Hopefully I will have something to contribute soon!

Kay, I can only imagine how busy you must be working and trying to participate here. When I was working, I very rarely did any art. Between working, exercising and household chores that was it. The hobbies I have now (target shooting, archery, art languages) were acquired after retirement. Traveling as much I can is very important to me. In fact, I am supposed to be in Edinburgh this May. While in Glasgow last year, I visited the Kelvingrove. How wonderful for Europeans that so many countries are easily accessible to you.

Thanks Joy. I'm still finding it hard to create, and I don't really know why. Last year was so busy, maybe I really didn't have any spare time left!
