This is a watercolour sketch on 440 gsm A4 size Chitrapat watercolour paper (rough). My reference is from a magazine article on tourism in Europe. I thought that this location was probably in Poland, but I wasn't sure. And I did not know the name of the photographer. But, being curious, I did a google search and discovered that this is a church on a man-made islet in Kotor, Montenegro. The islet was made by sailors who dropped rocks into the water after every safe fishing trip.

Thank you Lamar for such a nice comment. Yes. I too was amazed when I read about the the tradition of dropping stones.
 
Beautiful watercolor! Great job with the sky and details, too. The shadows really set it off.
 
Very nicely painted. Good work with the shadows and perspective. I like how you just suggest the mountains in the background which gives a wonderful feeling of depth.
