My Palette

[Grapes]

Here are two oil paintings of my palette and some objects to add interest:

"My Palette II", 30x40 cm, oil on Belgian Linen. Painting from life.

The following I did first to practice. "My Palette I", Oil on canvas board. 18x24 cm. Wanted to try cropping. Was enjoying painting these two.

I love paintings of palettes, paint tubes and brushes and these are beautiful, Grapes! It’s like we get a little peek into your studio and your favorite things. Are those wooden palettes heavy to hold? I think I probably wouldn’t be coordinated enough to use one and would end up wearing the paint.

I got the palette from a local artist who makes them and he also runs an atelier school here.
