This is an older landscape that started as a pleinair but the painting time was short that I had to finish it in the studio hence it's not pleinair anymore.
This was painted in Montone - very high hill town in Umbria, Italy. We lived up in a hill and came down to the valley to paint this.

Oil on canvas, size about 24x38 cm.
I'm not sure if I posted this here before but I kinda like the mountain range how it turned out by form and color.

You must be reading my mind, Grapes. I’m having a hard time learning how to mix greens and here are some very natural greens in a gorgeous painting for me to admire. I like how your greens progress from yellow-greens to blue-greens as they move into the distance.
 
I also like the way the foreground tress stand out and the mountains "disappear" into the BG. Looks almost 3D.
