I also painted the magnolia Sanlynn did. It was a challenge from another site.

I'm getting more comfortable with this paper and I was able to get the transitions of color better.

I also was able to do a better scan. I have been having a problem with my scanner making everything lighter in color so I did some research and found that I could correct that by adjusting the Color Curve. In Gimp, the software I use to scan, it's in the Colors | Curves menu.

That's gorgeous Anne, love those blue tones on the petals. Good tip about scanning too -I rarely have any luck with it.
