Thank you Donna.
Yea, it did. Over the years I have learned not to keep too much on hand. We lose it too long at least once a year. We lose power more often than that but usually not long enough to lose your frozen goods. Not worth a generator. Just keep frozen goods to a minimum.

Great picture, story and title as always @Enyaw ! 🔌⚡

We get power cuts quite regularly. A bit strange in the south east of the UK but we still have overhead cables in our village. Usually not enough to effect frozen food thankfully.😅

Nice painting. Good you keep busy during the times of power cuts. 👍

In winter l don't have problem where to take frozen groceries - I carry them out to the deck where they are cooler than in the actual freezer 😅
Wayne, can't you do that?

Thank you Grapes.
I could but this time the weather was 7 above. We get it from tropical storms as well so that is fall weather. And I won’t mention the raccoons and foxes we have around. I’m not in town, just outside of it but country.

Nice painting and I can so identify. Only we really need a generator here. In '09 we were without power for 9 days. On the eighth day, we had gone and bought a larger generator and the next morning the old one blew. We hadn't even put fuel in the new one yet but we got it right up and going and later that day the power finally came back on.
